Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune, having multiple campuses, has started accepting online applications for 2024 admissions in multiple Undergraduate courses through its different admission tests.

SIU offers courses across Engineering, Design, Computer Science, Law, Commerce, Economics, Journalism and Masscom, Nursing, Paramedical, Culinary Arts, Liberal Arts.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune is ranked 32 in the category “University” and 59 in the category “Overall” in the NIRF 2023 Ranking by GoI.

b) BDesign

c) BA (Mass Communication)

Selection criteria: In select courses, the admission test is followed by Personal Interaction (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Portfolio/Studio Test. Details are provided in the entrance test links above.

Other UG courses: Symbiosis also offers programmes in Culinary Arts, Liberal Arts, Nursing and Paramedical domains. Admission and application schedule for these are yet to be announced.

Program flexibility & multiple exit options: SIU has introduced the four year degree programme all courses (except BTech, BDesign and Law) with multiple entry and exit options as envisioned in the NEP 2020. The highlights of the new programme offerings are as under:

a) The Programme framework allows exciting options to pursue single major, double majors, minors, opportunity to pursue multidisciplinary, Ability and Skill enhancement courses.

b) Offers a good blend of immersive learning, research and community engagement

c) Includes opportunities for semester exchange programmes with foreign universities

d) Offers the following exit options

- A Certificate at the end of the first year of the programme with 44 credits

- A Diploma at the end of the first two years of the programme with 84 credits

- A UG Degree at the end of 3 years of the programme with 120 credits

- A UG Degree with Honours / Research at the end of the 4 years of the programme with 160 credits

- Offers option of Re-entry within 3 years of exit and 7 years as the maximum permissible period to complete the programme.
